16:00 the dinosaurs who survived the KT extinction were already birds long before that. Birds exist in 150 million years, at least some very primitive birds did. Teviornis was a neognathae bird (the same infraclass as the ones flying around today) that was dated to around 90 million years ago. So when T-rex was walking around there were already birds flying overhead.

I've been to the Congo several times, & if ever there was a place that Dinos could have survived in, it would be there, you could be 10 feet away from something/someone & you would Never know there was anything there, the sounds that resonate through the jungle are so strange, you imagine all kinds of things, yet when you see what make some of them you just don't believe it, ad that to the stories that the natives tell, who truly believe these things exist, & your mind just gets flooded with pictures, they will draw you a picture of what they have seen, the odd part is, they get almost No outsiders in the deepest parts of the jungle, no books, TVs, yet they will draw a picture of a Dino, they truly believe they live to this day.

Rather than 10 metres high, (which is only a third of the height of Japan's tsunami), a more accurate estimate of the tsunami height was 1000 metres, about the same height of the displaced water from the asteroid. Unfortunately that error of 10 meters has been quoted more and more since someone first started with it some years ago.. The largest tsunami in memory was the 1950s alaskan one from a landslide of only a small percent of the mass of the asteroid, and it reached 1700 feet in height!

why are the dinos always roaring in these videos? We don't know that they did...the had no voiceboxes, so probably not, and they lack the hyoid(tongue)bone connection that allows panthers (lions, tigers etc) to roar. Like all reptiles today they were probably hissing or grunting if they made any sound at all.

Wrong! The _only_ living descendants of dinosaurs are the birds. The closest living relatives of dinosaurs not being birds are crocodiles, but they evolved around the same time or slightly before the first dinosaurs in the Triassic period. Snakes, lizards and turtles aren't dinosaur descendants either, but more distantly related to them than crocodiles are.

Archosaurs are not a species. They are a large clade that includes birds, crocodilians, and their extinct relatives. So there have been thousands of species within the archosaur clade. Dinosaurs evolved from one species within the clade of archosaurs. All dinosaurs, including the birds, are also archosaurs. So dinosaurs evolved from a species of archosaur that was not a dinosaur.
