As with all deer, you never know what they could do from year to year. In Mikes experience, the majority of deer do not make huge jumps as they get to 6 and older. There are some deer that do, don't take us for saying it doesn't happen, but any mature deer is a trophy in our eyes! Thank you for your support!

Great question Rick, Mike routinely inspects all his permanent sets every season. We check to make sure the straps are not frayed or to tight to the tree as well as checking the hardware on to make sure everything is in operating condition come season. Generally every stand we hang and leave in the tree has the straps loosened and retightened every year or replaced if necessary. Safety is our number one priority here. Another thing that we have are Muddy lifelines on every stand we hunt out of so we are connected from the ground to the tree incase anything were to ever go wrong.
