"Still The Same" by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band was No. 4 on the U S Billboard Hot 100 Chart in 1978. The song has a disputed meaning. Some say it was about a gambler that was admired by the singer, that would not change, so the singer walked away. Bob Seger said it was "actually an amalgamation of characters he met when he first visited Hollywood".

Another great cover of one of my favorite songs. I remember this song playing on the radio a lot when I was younger. I always thought it was about a relationship, but never connected the dots about gambling until I was re-looking at the lyrics. It’s funny how so many songs we love from the past that we don’t put a lot of thought into the true underlining meaning. Great rendition with us. Keep up the great work. 🎺👍🏼
