What is that little plastic dart holder called? I can’t find them anywhere.

Search for a printed dart stand.

I doff my cap to you! Do you usually play with soft tip darts, or was this just an experiment for the comparison? In the UK, in shops we don’t normally see soft tip darts, and even in the well known large online shops, they are never prominently advertised, so customers have to specifically navigate towards them. Also, when people who are not used to seeing soft tip darts, they tend to assume that people are referring to the darts designed for electronic dartboards, as opposed to a ‘normal’ dartboard, so this is interesting to see. I could see the first dart reverberating upon landing in the board, and I can also see *&* hear the second & third darts reverberating as they clashed together due to your good grouping. My final question is purely wanting to know your opinion, please don’t take it to mean anything else, or in any way detracting from your ability/talent: would you say that these long/slim darts benefit from touching darts that are already in the treble 20 bed to help them into the treble 20 as well, or not? As an example, some fat or bulbus barrels tend to take up more room in the treble 20 bed, and their shape means they tend to deflect following darts *out* or *away* from the treble 20 bed. Thanks in advance, and congrats on the 180! 👏

Thanks for the comment. This channel is 99% steel tip but since I have "Worldwide" in the channel name I cover all things darts related. So the occasional soft tip video shows up. These darts at 5.8mm wide are incredibly easy to group tightly but at 65mm long they aren't the easiest darts to throw. But yes, in general I find it much easier to group skinnier darts. My own steel tip darts are right around 6mm wide.

Doesn't the soft tips wreck a bristle board?
@WorldwideDarts2 ай бұрын
Nope. The complete opposite. Soft tip darts are more gentle on the board compared to steel tips.

@@WorldwideDarts oh I'd of thought the rounder almost flat surface of the tip would punch back the bristles over time rather than split them apart like the sharper point of a steel tip does .

@@ruzzeii7639 I did an experiment back sometime around 2015 with a brand new Blade 4 dartboard. For the first 4 months I threw nothing but soft tip darts at it and after 4 months the board literally looked brand new. The plastic points didn't scratch the spider like a steel tip point does. The spider looked brand new. Also, soft tip points are sort of rounded over but when you throw them at sisal they get sanded down into a decent point rather quickly. I did rotate a few times but I was shocked at just how new the board looked after 100's of hours of use.

@@WorldwideDarts hmm interesting, I may have to start using soft tips lol
