1800's mourning dress customs in the South

We spoke with Lynn Bristow at the Frampton Plantation House Visitor Center and she explained in detail some of the customs from the 1800s as they related to mourning in the south.
If you would like to visit the Frampton Plantation House Visitor Center it is off I-95 at exit 33 in Yemassee, South Carolina.
