classic car lover 1959 I found one in my Dad’s old tool stuff. Had no idea what it was. Totally rusted. I soaked it in WD40 before I knew what it was. It rusted again even though I tried to dry it the best I could. I have a broken piece and I think the piece holds the shaver part. I don’t know what brand because that piece broke. I do see the the letters “NI” on it. Do you know where I can find better information on how I can put it back together or how to prevent it from rusting? Thanks

Would this Hudson work for peeling a tomato?
@LaurasLastDitch6 жыл бұрын
The tomato is so soft, it would fall off. It might work for potatoes, though I haven't tried it. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Linda J Gaeta eBay they’re going for $50 but you can likely make an offer for $40 and they’ll accept

what's it worth?

It's very dependent on who's selling it, where it's being sold, and the time of year.

Who was the idiot that put a Horsewhoe shaped peeler blade in these Pampered Chef's instead of the flat blade sued in the antiwques like my Mother used for over 40 years?
@ajaxcleanser3306 жыл бұрын
From a marketing and liability perspective, the horseshoe-shaped blade is brilliant: (1) The horseshoe design makes it harder to sharpen than a flat blade; therefore, people are more likely to buy the replacement blades instead. (2) The horseshoe-shaped design makes it harder for people to seriously injure themselves. Therefore, less lawsuits.

Watch that the antique cuts Only the skin off; while the Pampered Chef takes off ofver 1/2" of every apple to get just the skin.
