Well said Rookie :) Those pins with the hole all the way through, are trigger pins. Used only for core removal on bilock exclusive. Precut Exclusive keys will be hard to find. Even for us in Australia. Hope all is well on your end mate :) Stay well and be safe

Forgot to ask if you need a next gen bilock key? If so I can maybe part with 1 or 2 as well as a mix of pins and springs.

@@funkeyfastdrawmonkey1483Edit : Oh yeah, next gen keys would be great.. but every lock I have that is next gen, has that 13th pin taken out.. I hear some locksmiths do that because they are known to hang up?

Sorry, I misread your comment, lol But yeah by all means..

@@RookieLock are you confused about the part regarding how bilock exclusive keys being hard to find? The common 1st gen and sometimes next gen keys do come available on ebay from time to time. I bought a used system in a bulk lot on eBay. Had over 30 bilock formats like ovals, rim cylinders, euros and cam locks. Yeah your spot on about that 13th element. Just another part to wear out and cause a failure. I've got a few next gen owithout have 2 keys, so you can make one into a QCC key :) I'll send you when this covid restrictions ease up.

What model Abus is that beast???😎
@funkeyfastdrawmonkey14833 жыл бұрын
Looks to be an ABUS 83CS80 which takes a 570 oval :) Have a great weekend Chris
@@chriscapune7873 :) Do you have an 83CS80? I got myself one about 4 months ago. Always hesitated due to the price tag. When I got it, I instantly swapped out the standard C4 oval for a next gen Bilock oval. Makes the lock 10 times stronger IMHO.

@@funkeyfastdrawmonkey1483 that is one I don’t have 😅 The Bilock in that would be a awesome choice!!! What a wonderful lock!! 🐾🐈🐈⬛🐾🇦🇺🍻👍👍👍👍

Very cool video mate, the core is retained by the little ball bearings and the little flat plate in the internal tail piece. I tried doing the exact same thing. You can very easily drill the two divots in a standard BiLock key to make it a qcc key.

Yup, exactly.. Very neat system!
