@@joc.4992 i'll explain. you see, not everyone can afford to flirt in the kpop world. After watching the video, i'm sure you realized how everything they do gets recorded on camera, right? Now imagine someone very popular with a huge fanbase being spotted interacting with someone of the other sex at any sort of event. There'll be rumours and what not, even fans asking for explanation (why fans think an idol is their property is beyond me). SO YES. THEIR AGENCIES DO TELL THEM TO ACT THAT WAY. Only some idols are allowed to act freely, mainly those who are old enough (in their opinion), or those with a good fanbase like Mamamoo.

While Mamamoo is clearly a very talented group what always shows up in their live performances is their innate ability to seduce a crowd and wrap the crowd around their finger. They are natural stage performers who just ooze charisma in a way many of their peers don't. It was great to see Hwasa being so natural and friendly with Loco & Woogie rather than the stiff formality & bowing we usually see at these events. She was also the first to stand after BTS's performance. I love that Hwasa doesn't play by the idols-in-public rules and is always genuine and that she led the girls in giving tribute to the fab performance by their friends.

@@joc.4992 I'm not so sure about that, I only follow Mamamoo when it comes to kpop but I heard many things, like how some groups get told to not cheer for other companies group, since they're competency or something and that would probably increase their popularity, so they only cheer on groups from the same company. Since groups like Mamamoo and BTS come from smaller companies, they probably don't care about this and just cheer whatever fun performance they see, also all idols are conscious of the fansites and cameras focusing on their faces and know that one or other reaction can be polemic, if they cheer for a supposedly "problematic" group other fans would get mad, if they ignore the performances too, so they just sit there with blank expressions waiting for the thing to be over. I also heard that idols actually hang out with each other on their waiting rooms where fans can't see and judge them, so I wouldn't take it too personal that a group has one or other reaction, they're also pretty much used to these performances and songs so maybe it's not so exciting after a while. Only some people that really love the spectacle are brave enough to reveal their real emotions and openly enjoy it, make sure to support those ;)
