Tim is absolutely right. The way they cycled the loot pool in chapter one was a HUGE factor in how fun the game was. Yes you were fighting for your life and hoping you could get your little tower built fast enough, but when you got down to the top 10 and one kill could net you the fabled golden scar or AK when they added it or sniper rifle. It felt like it was a win written in the stars. Now, there’s too many “rare” weapons in the rotation, the game just feels repetitive and the “meta” is oppressive. Honestly… let’s hope they just leave the game as is for a while. There’s a reason Chapter One performed so well. They had a perfect formula, it’s super encouraging to see it come back

I like OG Fortnite a lot, I'm loving it right now, actually. At the same time, I do miss epic and legendary weapons being more readily available. I feel like it was still balanced in the gameplay, I'm still having the same kind of games I had in the last season. I'm still winning with 5 to 20 kills, regardless.

Kinda feels like exactly what ninja was saying though. Like this existed last season too. The MK only spawned in certain parts of the map, was considered "the most op gun in fortnite" at the time, and out damaged guns of the same rank. Meanwhile we also had a shotgun that one pumped earlier this year as well. Like all of things you are bringing up about the weapons is more true for the weapons we just had than for the current weapons. Not saying OG is not a very fun experience but seems like you're really only lowlighting previous seasons.
