I also think one of the strongest scenes in the miniseries are Fiver's visions. And yes even Bright Eyes can't reach up there and we not even talk about the rhyming prophet in the 1999 series. Otherwise some changes I don't like. That it is Clover who are going for Hazel and find him I can go with, because they decided to put this relationship in the series and so have to build up some believable chemistry. But I'm not a fan of the idea that Clover is getting captured by Efrafans and that is the reason for Hazel to go there. Like you said it is too much like the 1999 series where Hazel thinks with the heart and not with the head like in the book and the movie. There it is such a simple decision by how Holly was treated there and that does are willing to escape and that every rabbit was disgusted by it, that making it a personal thing for Hazel doesn't fit for me.

Before I say anything else, I think there is a problem with the audio on this episode

I've already said that I dislike the 1990s TV series so much that I couldn't watch your episodes on it (no offence to your episodes-it is the show I can't stand), well if the deviations on this show take their cues from the tv show, I like it even less! I can't stand the frantic pace of this show, (which is odd as it is twice as long as the '78 movie), nor do I like any of the changes in this portion. Like you, I think Clover's finding Hazel is WAY beyond the pale-it sidelines Fiver. I really dislike how close Ephrafa is to Watership, and I think the Capt's demanding Hyzenflay's death of General Woundwort is out of character-I don't think any of the captains would talk back to Woundwort that way. I'm also not a fan of Hyzenflay's taking part in Holly's escape. I guess modern audiences would have a problem with the Ephrafa raid solely being about liberating females (I'm not sure why, but people seem to have a problem with anything and everything nowadays), but adding Clover's capture comes out of left field! I have to say that as these episodes go on, I am liking the show less and less!

@@SJHFoto I can't disagree with any of that, though I do have a sneaking like of the 1999 series. But its seeming influence on this one is very odd. I can only conclude that some of those involved saw it as children.
