Divide and conquer is one of the adversary's greatest weapons. The enemy comes only to kill, steal, and destroy. You don't need books written by the slave masters to see that all the South Pacific Islanders traded amongst each other. All you have to do is listen to the language and hear and see that we have more in common than differences. Thanks for this interesting video.

684virus, that's cool! To my shame, I don't know much about our story as they really didn't teach it in school. The only Samoan I was taught in elementary was the reading and writing. The comment about the history was a general statement. But now, I'd like to do some research of my own, thanks to your video! I vaguely know that one of my great grandmother was once one of the wives of one of these Malietoas. Fascinating! Thank you!

A paramount chiefs status is equal to a european king. But This is the thing the palagi man used the world paramount high chief instead of KING because only the british monarch could use that. Which means that all the most high paramount chiefs are of royal status the one with the power of in samoa were of kings in that district or village and even sometimes the whole of samoa. which is what countries in africa do, they have many chiefs/kings for a village/tribe. Samoans use the world MATAI but that status should be higher than what it translates in english which is chief because samoans use MATAI as another name for god in the bible. These paramount chief titles or kings that came after TUI MANU'A are of royal status. A royal monarch or empire or kingdom starts of by power if you have power over people you then become the most highest and most powerful in that country, tribe or village and thats how all royal families have started is from power and war. So these paramount chiefs are kings some ruled over the whole of samoa and some ruled their district or village. So everyone needs to stop saying all who are not TUI are not royal status because you are misinformed and miseducated you need to study old books. The white man translated samoan words wrong.

Williams arrived in 1830 but it was Vainuupo who accepted Christianity not Moli, it seems you've drawn the link from Moli to Williams when it was actually Vainuupo who accepted it after he lead his district Tuamasaga the island of Manono & Safotu and defeated the A'ana district in what was arguably Samoas last great War before the palagi super powers arrived. Williams waited 3 days while Malietoa Vainuupo and his war party were burning A'ana survivors alive in a big pitt in Fasito'o.

Out of 17 people in charge of guarding sacred history of Samoa, all except 5 died from the influenza disease. They tried to wipe all our leaders out and kill majority of Samoans. King Malietoa agreed to join Hawaii to create a Polyneasian confederacy. King Kalakaua sent a ship Kaimiloa into Apia harbour with the diplomatic mission to form a Polyneasian confederacy with Samoa & Tonga as they were the only 3 sovereign nations left in the pacific. The 3 coward empires accused King Kalakaua of meddling in Samoan affairs. To make sure no confederacy could be formed they held a meeting and conspired to annex Samoa, they betrayed Samoans by saying the war was over and to turn in their weapons, after disarming Samoa, they annexed Samoa and here we have the Berlin treaty agreement, allocating east Samoa to America west Samoa to the German and the German negotiated with the British to have Tonga and other islands because they lost so many soldiers in west Samoa. The main threat discussed between the 3 coward empires is to never allow Mata'afa to become King, an American in charge called Mata'afa the Samoan Washington of DC, as his word held weight and majority of Samoa obeyed his command. These 3 coward empires join forces to try kill Mata'afa and his supporters, bombing from their ships like cowards, they bombed and emptied over a thousand shells into villages, used their machine guns to spray villages with bullets, kill innocent women and children, even the mangled bodies of our young children trying to crawl to safety on the sand did not stop these devils from murdering our people who's only crime was defending their own SOVEREIGN nation. There was no representative from Samoa during the Berlin treaty agreement because they had held our people hostage. They also came up with a good enough reason to annex Hawaii, all this so their true agenda to create a powerful navy force that they can control, that's why the Polyneasian confederacy history has been hidden and the truth about what really happened in Samoa was hidden as well.
