Love the colors! It turned out beautiful! That mold is gorgeous and its size would make a great trivet. I’ve made a few with a similar sized mold, just a simple 9” round. I used Stone Coat art resin, it’s heat resistant up to almost 500F. So, it’s great for setting very hot plates or pans on to protect your table. Thanks for another great video Julie!❤

Grazie. 🤩

Ooh this one is quite pretty! I wonder if putting the mica powder in all three colors would have had less of a blending into one color effect 🤔 Not that this isn't a very pretty effect!! but more of the rings would have been cool too. I like when you play with new stuff or ideas and we all get to experience it for the first time 😊

I love these videos, i just received my cascade mold and can’t wait to try it!! Question: im thinking of putting the resin I suck out of the middle back into the piece so that each piece I make is about the same thickness. Have you ever tried of sucking it out and then gently adding it back into the mold? I just wonder if it would mess up the design or if it’s thick enough by then that it will not affect it?

Beautiful! Can you mix your color in your resin and then put the cup in the bubble remover? I'm new to this 😊
@fairyspunfibers9098 Жыл бұрын
@staceygoff952 Yes, you can - works perfectly. Just make sure the container is plenty large to contain the bubbles; otherwise, you'll lose a lot of your resin. 😊👍

Oh, that is pretty! 😊 To answer your conversational question--here in the US = Flashlight. I don't see anything wrong with regional names for things, though, so it can be torch pretty much everywhere else and still be fine. Familiarity breeds understanding of habit, and in the case of watching multiple youtubers who speak English, but aren't US like me, I'm used to hearing some quirky terms. Not all, but there aren't too many that will slip by me, either. Call it what you like, and whatever makes you more comfortable. If that happens to be "torch" it isn't as though many of us won't still understand. 😉 I wouldn't take any comments deriding how you speak seriously anyway; it's a bit like correcting someone online for doing the "there, they're, their" incorrect grammar swap thing. Not everyone's gonna get that right every time, and it is pedantic to remark on it no matter the intent. 😕

Dimenticavo.... ho trovato nel tuo negozio ciò che qui non trovo: il pigmento bianco.
@ideasboutique Жыл бұрын
A torch has a flame, a flashlight has a bulb... your flashlight doesn't flicker unless you put it on strobe. The strobe effect can cause seizures (to prone people), which is why people complained. I'm surprised as a nurse you didn't know about that.
@michelleplume4778 Жыл бұрын
In the uk we call it a torch not a flash light
@witchCRAFTer Жыл бұрын
In Australia we also call it a torch…Julie is Australia. Obviously Julie is airing on the side of caution when she warns about flashing or flickering light from the torch. It is polite but also some people with epilepsy are indeed extremely sensitive to changes in light which can trigger seizures. Julie clearly understands this and that’s why she warns her viewers. Don’t come after her for that, she’s being cautious!

I think that the blooming technique is such a lovely direction for her videos. It is also something Julie enjoys, and as it is her hobby and her joy that she shares with us, and that we enjoy so much because she is doing what she is inspired to do. So let's allow her to do her and be grateful she shares her ideas and joy with us in the best way...according to her inspiration and that is what makes her work and videos so lovely. Pouring in molds without the blooming takes so on the anticipation and the magic of resin away...because we tend to know exactly how it will turn out. I personally appreciate the variety she brings as well as her dedication to "mastering" and tweaking different techniques. I am not coming at you, but just as you shared your opinion on her content I am sharing my opinion on your unnecessary comment. I liken your comment to telling Thomas Kincade to stop painting light, or Bob Ross to stop painting happy trees. Just ick. She is doing her passion and if you want other things than blooms, start your own channel or do non-blooms pieces on your time.
