1850's home site and old park

While I was attending school i got a permission to detect an 1850's town site and old park that lo longer functions as one. I also got a permission at an old school house dating to about 1900. come join me as we uncover some old artifacts.

That one item that she didn’t know what it was could’ve been the top of a Ford model T coil?

I never thought of that. Buy the hinge thing is throwing me off. I thought they looked like a solid T on the coil.
