Nice finds. You need a squirt bottle to clean those up just enough for us to see what it is. ( like the Hoover boys ). Wowza, everything you are finding is not very deep at all ....maybe 4" ?? Nice treasure hunt..... can you do a live dig every now and then ? Did you find any garbage ?

Thanks. I had a squirt bottle but I usually only use it on silver. When dirt dries on silver it can permanently adhere to it. You want to get it off quickly. The copper, nickel copper, and aluminum coins/tokens can wait. The ghost towns are hours away from the nearest town and i only have so much time. Ghost towns are a different type of metal detecting. Lots of garbage, they had dumps but buried a lot of trash near their homes. It's incredibly rare to get a clear banger signal. Tin cans and corrugated tin roofs and walls hit through the entire conductivity range. Iron signals & low tones, mid tones and high tones. The various sizes of this tin will even hit like a silver dollar sometimes. If I dug the all these iffy signals live, my battery would die in an hour. I dig an incredible amount of trash, usually 5-10lbs. I recycle it all. Thanks for the comment!

How's it going Casey. Excellent Hunt there. The Belt Buckle is awesome, so is the Yale Padlock. I just recently found my first one like that. Excelsior 6 Lever Padlock. Love the tiny Buckle. Have you ever found coins in really good condition? Silver dollars? Gold coins? I bought a metal detector to mess around with in retirement but haven't used it yet. It would just to be something to putter around with, but it'd also be fun to find some cool stuff.

I've found coins considered as uncirculated. I've found a couple silver dollars. In my older videos you'll see when I found them. Only gold coin was in a ring. Dos pesos. About 25 gold rings. One with a 2k ruby. If you detect schools and parks, there's a good opportunity to find a gold ring. Gotta dig the mid tones.
