Oh, that makes me sad for you. My Mom died 5 or more years ago. I purposefully because I just can't bear knowing how long it's been without her. I loved reading your post and knowing that there is someone else out there who misses their mom's as much as I do. I know you will have a great reunion.

My mother has been gone for seven months and I think every day “I’m going to have to tell Mother this, it will make her so happy, and then I remember again she’s not here; maybe she does know. I have many happy memories with her, I’m lucky. You are inspirational, your items are so beautiful. Since you stirred memories of my mother I decided to take a very heavy antique hammered aluminum Dutch oven that she made fudge in for many years and make a display for a corner of my kitchen placing a cocoa box, a wooden spoon, a lovely kitchen towel inside, maybe use some greenery and add a little bird (we shared a love of them) for a reminder or her. Have fun creating.

Just love love everything you do. Twenty years ago we moved from a 2400 square foot house with porches, balconys and a screened in porch with a beautiful view of a lake into a 1200 dquare foot little house. It is on a lake. The Lord made a way for us to be closer to pur daighter and my Mom. So I decided that my little house would be a cottage and I would bloom where I was planted . We did a lot of painting, putting down new floors, new front porch floor and I could go on and on. It's so good to see you making this house come to life. Can"t wait for your next video. You are such a lovely person with lots and lots of talent. Hope I didn't make to many mistakes in typing this. I am 82 years of age and still enjoy decorating. God Bless you and your family!!❤❤❤

I must tell you in one of your recent videos you talked about bringing out your inner child and it hit me that I have been doing the same thing and didn't know it.. Thank you. I have moved into my elderly mother's house who is bedridden to care for her. I am using her old sewing room as a bedroom. I was always more of a purple and red / gold person not all together but separately ! I’m noticing my family more who is all adhd my adult kids and myself I am add and as I’m getting older brighter colors and to much stuff around drives my brain crazy . Hi Bev. I love seeing life brought back to an older home. I love the flow blue China platters. My late husband was an Antique dealer as a hobby. He purchased a set of Flow Blue China with all the serving pieces. There originally were 12 piece settings, but through the years of using it and passing it down through the generation some was broken. It lived in my house until he sold it. We have a beautiful bow front curio with all bowed glass and it was glorious. I wanted to keep it but for financial reasons he sold it. I still have some of the beautiful pink, white , and green Hull pieces that I display in my Spring and Summer decor. I just wanted to say “hello” and I too live in North Carolina. I so enjoy your videos. I always watch you and look forward to seeing what you do next.

I love French Country! I've gone through many phases in my life, but now that I'm older, I love the nostalgia of old items! I love your show, the way you decorate, and that you are not one of these modernist minimalists. My daughters think I have too many items - but I love them all and I want to display them! Seeing you display many items in a vignette makes me happy, and give me so many ideas. I consider these items treasures, and even if no one else wants to seem them I DO!
