1860s Era 4-4-0 Steam Locomotive at Speed! | Northern Central Railway

Northern Central Railway no. 17 is a 4-4-0 steam locomotive built by the Kloke Locomotive Works in 2013 (yes, you read that right). While it is a replica of the NCRR 17 "York" locomotive, it still looks great running through the fields of Pennsylvania.

@@hornbytrainsets My experience from perusing steam engine forums for many years is that it doesn't go both ways. OP had to bring up that it is an "American" engine and then say they aren't a fan. It's a back handed compliment and i don't even know why they felt a need to comment. I've read a lot of these back handed compliments on British forums and am just sick of them. Steam played an important part in America's history and we are proud of the engines we built. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

How comes you're finding that are so many Brits following forums about USA railways that they don't really like though??
