I wish Amtrak could have had a paint Scheme like the B&O and just put Amtrak on the side of it and let the original paint Scheme stay because the B&O paint Scheme is beautiful even the C&O Chesapeake and Ohio was very nice too but that Amtrak needs some help it's so depressing to look at compared to the mighty B&O!!!❤❤❤

You know they could have cleaned the Streamline locomotive 51 up before they pulled it out where is that great B&O Pride I wish I was there I would clean it up I used to love the Capitol Limited Capitol Limited I will never forget how I was introduced to it it scared the Living Daylights out of me once I saw how big it was and how small I was first I saw the Mars light coming at us it was dark in Cumberland and the train came in I can feel the ground shaking around me and I saw the Mars light next thing you know I saw the very bottom of the train we had the yellow cow catcher and then I saw the whole frame of the engine and he hit the horn at the same time and I flew to the my grandfather's wins car ever since then I fell in love with trains we used to go out to the bridge and watch coming around the viaduct heading out hauling it was moving to the side with a heavy Glide!!! I think we were on Washington Avenue looking over the bridge watching the train go beneath us those were the good old days, it topped off the day when I used to go to Constitution Park swimming eating pizza coming down Pine Avenue eat at 1 grandparents house then go to the other ones house and eat dinner too and wait for grandfather to take us over to the trains that night when it came in around 8:00 or 7:00

A machine dating from way back to the mid-Fifties. Motorists might take a longer look knowing that. These were used by the Alaska Railroad to switch freight cars around the Port of Anchorage a half century ago, having the notable addition of a box atop the far end (for heat I imagine). Unbelievable any are still around
