I'd love to add one of these to my collection. Thanks for the presentation.

Fantastic Video. I was thinking about making a video of Werndl disassembly but, you've made a perfect one already.

Thank you! I had some questions about taking it apart that no one on milsurp forums had answers to. I figured it would be helpful to document my “journey” to help others out. Feel free to make another video if it covers stuff that I may have missed!

Very nice video and thanks for the mention! There certainly are quite a few differences between early and later modes. That rifle looks great too! Quite a bit nicer than mine.

Thanks, it looks miles better than it did when I first acquired it. I did get some 11mm Werndl from Buffalo Arms, as well as some antique ammo on stripper clips (though I am likely going to keep that as a collectible), so I definitely want to take it shooting when I find the opportunity to do so. I am also interested in reloading for it, but I am still going to be looking out for a good deal on dies. CH4D seems to be the only one that makes them (custom) and they are pricey! Luckily I have experience reloading 11mm Mauser in blackpowder, so the process is somewhat similar.

Hello Richard. I have not seen one of these available for sale for a LONG time. I purchased this one from another collector through a military surplus rifle collecting forum. This example was $1000 with shipping included. I know another individual that purchased one of these at a gun show for $450 a few weeks ago!

@@gondolaservicepeschieradel4115 I have some embarrassing news. I haven’t had a chance to take this beautiful rifle shooting yet. The closest outdoor range to me that allows blackpowder firearms is 2 hours away, and I don’t have the time to make the trip. I purchased some newly made ammo from a specialty manufacturer in the US (Buffalo Arms) that makes a limited number of cartridges each year or two. It wasn’t cheap! I reload 43 Mauser (11mm Mauser), but not 11mm Werndl. The dies are way too expensive!
