Thank y’all for the Mike Helmann comments. It is almost just as hard on us, your fans when someone like Mike passes away. We love you all, even the ones we don’t know because it affects the show, it affects our favorite drivers and it is part of your lives. We too are saddened by his passing. Massive love to Mikes fam, massive love to the morons.

It's hard losing someone close like family and expecting to go right out, put a smile on your face, and perform. I've been there myself. My sympathies go out to all the teams and especially to Mike's family!

At Brainerd, i was the first guy in line when your crew cut off the line. I was disappointed but 100% understood. I appreciate all the time that you were available to "shake hands and kiss babies". The NPK deal is about the only way fans get to see you do what you do, and I appreciate that you decided to NPK for that reason. Chatting with Phantom was nice while you were greeting folks. #listener12

Hi to all you guys. This was our first NPK event and you all did a great job. Goddd it was HOT. My hubby and I have met you, Phantom and your dad at SEMA so we figured we’d stand back today. Much love and hugs to all that loved Mike. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank You Shawn and Phantom. I can relate with the loss of Mike and trying to carry on. I do believe carrying on with the show that weekend was what he would have wanted. Yes we all mourn in our own way and living this fast paced life can be tough on all of you. My condolences to all of you Street Outlaw racers and families and especially Mike's family. Just remember, this was something he loved to do and all of you together as 1 made it happen.. He may not be with all of you physically, but he's with you all in your hearts and spirit. Love you all!! Take care and stay safe.💗

I am amazed you have been able to keep things in perspective. The general public is full of a-holes, but you are right. If no one cared, you would have to find a new job. I also think it's really cool that your dad, wife, son and his friends are part of your crew. I think that's great.

I'd like to say I got the opportunity to meet Mike, while at Axmans trailer in the VA NPK event this year. He was cracking jokes back and forth about getting Larry to the chip draw, and away from the fans for a second. He definitely gave off some positive energy. I didn't know who he was at the time, I just recall the experience we had in those moments. RIP to your friend.

When you operate on the big stage, big stage rules apply. Typically these rules are non negotiable. In this case the rule is "The Show Must Go On" As usual these racers worked through all obstacles. Great job.

I’m very sorry for the loss of your friend. You spoke about Mike when my son and I got to meet you and Phantom in Bowling Green. I was saying Phantom was wearing the wrong Chicago Baseball teams hat. Shawn said there was only one team in Chicago. Then spoke with my son, signed his die cast and then told us about a great producer for the show that was a Sox fan. Said he was a fantastic guy. Again, I’m sorry. I’ve seen others talk very highly of Mike as well. Sounds like a great dude.

This is way better than the TV show, the real banter at the starting line between the driver's and crew chief's, it's not a drama,it really shows that everyone gets along, and the different sense of humors the tv show doesn't give you,I like real and this does a better job of that
