@@optimisticoutreach1236 uh, used to love this channel? While i agree there needs to be more variety, you suggest this channel was anything prior to Mike Israetel putting it on the map. Mike has been around since the beginning, before Pascal, when Steve was with his earlier partner, whose name escapes me, who he dumped and assume the reason for the name alteration, before this operation got this corporate antispectic feeling and got obsessed with micromanaging services, product, and image.

I love Mike's optimism about how the world will be once we know exactly how hypertrophy works, but he should take a look at fat loss. We know exactly how that works, create a calorie deficit, couldn't really be more simple, yet how many new weird approaches appear each year that will work so much better than any previous approach.
@ReviveStronger5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but it's still a move towards the truth - Pascal
@Neofolis5 жыл бұрын
@@ReviveStronger I totally agree, it will be a great thing. The problem is that in the same way that people who struggle to lose weight look for alternative answers or reasons other than they are obviously not creating a consistent calorie deficit over time, the same will still be true for those who struggle to gain muscle, even if we know exactly how hypertrophy works. As a result, there will still be people wanting to make money out of those people who believe there must be another answer, so there will still be a huge amount of misinformation.

Should someone workout until systemic fatigue everytime? Is systemic recovery something psychological more than physical? If i feel all the muscles dieing to a point where climbing stairs becomes more of a challenge than the whole leg workout and feel great 3 days later to attack it again psychologically and physically, is there anything about fatigue that maybe i do not take into consideration just because i dont feel the negative effects of it? In short; is fatigue something you absolutely can gage with the feel? Or are there hidden factors?

Sure, 99% of gymgoers but I doubt that this is the case for the 1% of people who really want to get better. For some people, the "train hard" mentality and approach simply doesn't seem to work out and these are the people getting into the field to understand more about physiology, lifting, nutrition, etc. It's not because they're lazy, it's because whatever has worked for the big guys didn't work for them.
