My kids will probably tell you that I've never cried before in my life, but I was bawling like a baby when Elsa was dying. I've never experienced a TV show or a movie that moved me the way 1883 did.

I have to agree with Pat, I’ve never experienced a show that just grabbed my emotions like this show. In large part because I was already so aware of Tim, Faith, Sam, and LaMonica. Isabel was really new to me but I loved her immediately. Her love story with Sam was so special to watch. I’m hoping that some of you will show up again and your love will carry over into 1923. I thank you from my heart for sharing your incredible talent with all of us out here falling in love with all of you ❤️

1883 was a true MASTERPIECE!! Never before have I watched & loved a story like this. All the actors were beyond brilliant!! I grew up watching westerns w/my mom & reading her Louis L’Amour books. The Sackett’s & Sam Elliot were always my favorite books & westerners to watch!! I’m so thankful Taylor brought all these wonderful actors together to make this show/story!! Thanks for bringing these peeps together! It’s great to hear their stories. I’m looking forward to all the new shows in November! 💗🤎💚💛❤️

This show was a total masterpiece. Every actor was perfectly cast. I totally binged watched this entire show in one long night. I literally couldn’t stop watching it. I was riveted by each performance. I felt every range of emotions. Sam Elliot saying that everyone brought their all during this interview was exactly how I felt while watching this incredible show. By the end of watching at the last episode , I was weeping like a little child. It was truly a special series. I couldn’t believe it was over at the end. I really hope to see more of these characters.

1883 was "Spectacular" and the saddest part is that it was only one season! 😢

There's nowhere to go but down. It's so good that you just have to walk away wanting more. I wouldn't want a second season for that reason alone.

Super series! Elsa is one of the best female characters in a very very long time, and played beautifully by Izzy May.

What a beautiful, romantic adventure. I have watched twice & I’m halfway through the third viewing. This is one I will watch many times over. The actors performances were amazing. Congratulations Taylor Sheridan!👍🏽❤️

My wife and I have and have had horses for years. We tend to watch riders in movies to see how they ride. And we noticed some of the outlaw cowboys that had the chicken-wing elbows flapping as they rode at a gallop...lol But overall, in all of Taylor Sheridan's work, the horsemanship is pretty much spot on. BUT, in the case of the Yellowstone show, the quality of the horses the actors ride makes the rider look good even though they may be novice riders.

Yep, I agree... I'm an owner of twirly headed Arabs who had to take many a riding lessons so that I can just stay upright on emotional horses.

Of course you're going to bring your A game- if you are professional and these people are. I have been involved in community theatre in my home town for 11+ years now and bringing your A game is what makes your performance and a production.

Best show on Netflix. Wish they would come back with a season two so we can see how the family got to the point of the new series 1923. I think there still is a lot of story here.

Good interview. But I wish they mentioned Elsa’s romances. Those stories were bittersweet but added some joy to all the hardship. Ennis & Sam were some of my favorite characters.

Just when I thought Sam Elliott couldn't get any cooler, I see him do an interview (presumably from his home) while sitting in front of a framed 'Doors' photo.

1883 was nearly flawless for me. There were only 2 issues I had - one was unavoidable, the other wasn't. The unavoidable issue was the immigrants speaking conversational English quickly. Not realistic, but I get how it was necessary. The other issue was Thomas (Garrett) dismissing Shea's (Elliot) war nightmare by ""sleeping like a baby". In the previous scene around the campfire, Thomas already put Shea "in his place" for the same reason, so the 2nd scene with the nightmare only served to undermine Shea's character, not build up Thomas'.

I'd say the only would be Elsa falling in love so quickly so often but it's really a knitpick
