A tremendous knowledge is hidden in His every single phrase. Thank you Professor, I finally learned what I wanted to learn.

At 10:52 on IdVds plot breakdown voltage is lower for higher power - it might be other way around for GaN (no punchthrough) as increased temperature (=>scattering) slows down electrons and shifts avalanche towards higher Vds. Thanks a lot for the great lectures!

Thanks for the great intro! 42:57 it is a little bit strange that Vcas>Vbat, or is there any intention for that?

Hi Dr. Hajimiri!, I am working on a RF card, the final PA is Doherty power amplifier. When I provide dc bias to the main and peak, quiescent current is rapidly shooting up and going over limit. I have tried increasing the contact between the PCB and heatsink(thermal paste, screws etc. )What possible techniques can I use for debugging this issue?Kindly suggest.

I have some problems!!! How rf power amplifier works I have a walkie talkie that have a rf power amplifier module inside and powered by 7.5v and have 5watts of power into the antenna How this is happening? We know our antenna have a impedance of 50 ohm so if: I = v÷r P= v × I I= 7.5v ÷ 50ohm=150mA P=7.5v×150mA=1.12 watts So why ican see 5watts in my power meter

i guess there will be no RF series lectures anymore, it makes a lot of difference to just read PDF's and didn't get extras from lectures :(
