Both are beautiful Karen! Really loved those colors together. 😚Your stories always has me enthralled as I watch you multi-task pouring & talking! Me🙃 LOL That story about your old house and what you saw in there...omg!, I would have nightmares after that experience. Too bad Chloe now has that horrible vision about her Mom's house imprinted in her brain. 😣😲 I really appreciate your recipe notes within your video more than you can know. Really takes the guessing out. I'm going to use it today! Thank you so much for that. BTW...I found clear tubbing in different sizes at Home Depot for the refrigerator water dispenser. $3.99. I cut it to be able to reach across to the other end of my canvas and manipulate the direction to blow through it. It works like a charm. You are a doll! I Love your Art! 😊🥰🐇💗

I have a question, you said you are using minwax prestain conditioner for the cell activator. Are you using the one that is oil based or water based? I would think oil base would make it difficult to get off the project before you either varnish or resin it. Oil doesn't mix with either very well unless you are using the oil based varnish but then that yellows over time. Just wondering. Sorry to hear about you childhood home. My sister lives in our childhood home, and it has changed over the years.
@WaterfallAcrylics5 жыл бұрын
Rhinestone and Graphics It is oil based, but with only 3 drops in about 7 oz of paint and nothing in the base house paint or other colors the amount is too minuscule to make a difference. I love being able to resin without having to clean silicone!

Love your painting! Fantastic cells from the black and also the colored cells. Your story about your childhood homes brought back memories of what happened to mine. New owner (never convicted, set fire for insurance money). My Mom and Dad actually went to watch it burn and later returned to take pictures. I chose not to keep any of the pictures I had of it in that state that they gave us kids. No sense in keeping bad memories of it after we sold it.

I’m trying to use them a lot more! I cheat though for larger pours.
@Lexielouwho5 жыл бұрын
Jenni, I reuse my plastic cups over and over again until they become a bit too crusty to use again. I live with a septic system not a sewer so I worry about washing paint down my drain and clogging up my septic tank. Do you worry about the effect paint has on sewer/septic systems. Or even on what affect it has if it leaches into our water system? It seems no matter how environmentally conscious one is, there's always a trade off.
@jennivanrooyen59635 жыл бұрын
I was my cups in a bucket and pour the water in one section of the garden. In this way I think that only a small section of soil is affected.
@Lexielouwho5 жыл бұрын
@@jennivanrooyen5963 even if it's a small section, the chemicals in paint still Leach into the soil and ground water. A lot of these paints have cadmium and Lord knows what else so I just wonder what that does to our soil and water. I collect all my drippings into a bottle and take to a paint drop off once a year so they can dispose of it properly. It just seems as much as we try to be conscious of waste, there are still negatives.
