1894 Lake County Map Conservation

Plat maps illustrate land ownership and the county's growth. The Dunn Museum’s 1894 Lake County plat map fills a gap in the historical record between the 1885 and 1907 maps. However, its deteriorated condition made it too fragile for research and needed professional conservation.

Lake County, Colorado? Leadville? I worked there in 1978-9 at the Climax mine after my ETS from Ft. Carson. Living in pure wild west history. Oh sorry, i see this article is about Illinois.
