The two 18k chains that I've purchased both (rope and figaro) look the same or lighter in color than my 14k chains. Do you have a recommendation for a chain style that has a noticeable color difference at 18k? I love your content! Thanks for sharing.

Your 14k chains may be plated with higher purity gold? Some solid gold chains are plated (solid 14k with 18k plating, solid 18k with 22k plating...) to make them look better

I've been wearing a rather dainty 18k link chain 24/7 for 20+ years. In the shower, in the ocean, under waterfalls, basically everywhere, and it's still good as new to me. The 22k franco I got last month (which is also dainty) will receive the same treatment without any doubt!
