I enjoyed that video. It brought back memories. My father was serving in the Australian Army in the late 1940's and was based at Balcombe Camp. We lived at the time in Mount Martha. When he left the Army we moved into Red Hill South and grew starwberries. Apples were also grown in the area at that time. My sister and I were educated primarily at the Red Hill Consolidated School and the Rosebud High Shcool until we moved into Melbourne City. Thanks for posting.

I haven’t been to the Mornington Penninsula since I was a child although I have fond memories of going there from Mentone during the summer holidays. Excellent video, am planning a Victoria trip and do want to see this area, you've highlighted plenty of great places, so thanks 🙂. I've unfortunately heard Gunnamatta Beach had an incredibly bad sewage outfall problem in the 2000s with surfers getting infections, I really hope the wastewater management have improved their sewage treatment there!

You need to get a train to Frankston, beyond that you need a car for most of it. There are buses but that take an hour to get to Mornington from Frankston, or 15 min by car
