Melbourne is one of the great cafe capitals of the world. Please - the next time you're in Melbourne, please please please ask some locals for their recommendations for whatever type of food you're looking for, as it's absolutely available, and far, far, far better than anything you can get from Starbucks. Starbucks hasn't been successful in Australia because there are so many better options literally everywhere you go. The laneways have hidden gems. Look for where there are lines out the door, they're the good places.

Yes and no on the last. I’d trust a French couple, one of whom is a qualified French pastry baker, who states Lune is overrated and overpriced. Lune isn’t bad but just overhyped and overpriced. His ‘he can do better than this / not really trying’ baking is better than most bakeries here tbh. But yes, the laneways have hidden gems. Pidapipo is legit gelato as rated by actual Italians from Italy I know so….

I started doing 'Behind the Scenes' videos last year, and viewers really love them. There's an urban myth that when a KZbinr goes away shooting videos, it's a total jolly - film for 30 minutes, and the rest of the day is spent by the pool etc. I wish. A great video Noel.

That was really enjoyable. I am fascinated by how the behind scene things work as well. It would be great if you did a video with your planning for your trip too - see how you work out your routes, the airlines you are going to take etc. and then another one looking at how that actually plays out - were you able to get ebverything done, what had to change etc etc. And a final one looking at editting and putting it all together in different videos to make them entertaining etc.

Loved this summary video and would love to see one each time you do your mega trips as it gives us an insight into your work. I echo what’s been said about looking after yourself though.
