I did this 10 years go. I remember stopping at the start of the paved road, which coincided with the road starting to ascend a small hill. There was a truck positioned at the top of the hill. No-one accidentally gets that far down that road, and I think you were luck not to get into any trouble for getting there.

I did a Greyhound trip several years ago from Charlotte to a nearby town I was living in after work one night. The station was full of scary characters. When I got on the bus the couple behind me made out the whole time and it was the most gross sound. The stop dropped me off on a sketchy side of town where it was pitch black dark and it was so bad that the driver of the taxi I called to get me home said to me, “Let’s not ride anymore Greyhounds okay? This is not safe.” 😂

I rode from Tampa Fla to Charleston Wv. In route I met a girl on her way back to Alderson woman’s prison from an emergency leave for. family death.
