The difference was Sebas had no reason to think it wasn't Ainz, while Albedo already knew Tabula wasn't in Nazarick, and anyone looking like him had to be an imposter. It would be like someone appearing before Ainz as Ninya or Clementine. No matter how convincing the illusion is, he already knows for a fact they're dead, so there's no way it could be the real ones.

I guess higher Doppelgangers is really rare considering Yggdrasil players hate to play as Heteromporph. Pandora could probably sneak to everywhere he wants as an absolute menace and even if someone ambushed him he wouldn’t even have a problem fighting 10 Adamantite Adventurers at once. He could probably take on PDL very easy considering he fought the Armor not with full strength + only few spell limitation + highly disadvantageous classes.

It is well known that the anime skipped the fact that the PDL fought Shall year between the Black Scripture brainwashing her and Ainz finding her. When the Scripture left her brainwashed but without a command she had her dress but when Ainz found her she had her armor. In the anime Ainz and Albedo find her in her dress with her lance in hand and it is only when Ainz attacks her with Super Tier Magic that she equips her armor. Also, one of the reasons why PDL is convinced Players are damaging the world is because of the degeneration of Wild Magic. When Players showed up they brought Tier Magic to the New World and ever since Wild Magic had become more costly to cast. Wild Magic uses vital force or souls to cast, the Dragon Queen qho turns into a child would need to use human sacrifices to cast powerful spells to fight the beast en invasion to her kingdom. But even PDL has been needing to use more of his own vital force to cast spells. It is theorised that the World Item Evileye mentioned, the book with all the spells in the world in it, is responsible for this.

@@saljpal3 I would need to re read the novels but I am pretty sure the PDL mentioned he himself finds more costly to cast Wild Magic compared to when there were no players. More than once I think... for example Wild Magic is so costly now that he couldn't replicate the ring Gazef lent Climb. But again I would need to re read some things to be sure.

PDL didn't survive the war with EGK. He simply didn't participate in it. The one implied to be the survivor of war is ECDL (Elder Coffin Dragon Lord), who said that he would never forget the powerful magic (Super-Tier Magic) and was called a coward by his fellows as he recalled. He probably fled, which is why he could survive a war that none was said to have survived.

Mmm... its not so much better as more accessible to the other races, before tiered magic, only the dragons and a few lucky peeps born with wild magic were able to use any, on the other hand tiered magic allowed the mortal races to learn the players magic freely given they had the capacity for levels. It also seems wild magic had less stringent rules on its effects and was more flexible and freeform.

@@saljpal3 Hmm I think it'd be more profitable to plan a dedicated side story volume featuring Deep Darkness DL in passing. Hear me out on this one. We know already, he resides in a subterranean cave system, with arguably an entrance in the Great Forest of Tove. The cave system likely runs deep over a large terrain, speculatively including the great chasm in the dwarf kingdom as well. So it'd be hard to determine his position, and knowing Ainz, he sure ain't going poking around hornet nests without obvious benefits in sight. But what if, Ainz's adventurers guild matures enough (it'll take time to meet his standards), to plan an expedition into those caves, accidentally running into the dragon lord in the process. Sounds exactly like the plot of a side story. POV: If ya'll made it down here, thank you. Didn't have anything better to do so I kept on writing is all.

The Slane Theocracy is both a lot less dangerous, and far more justified than Ainz is, forming an alliance with Ainz against them makes no sense. Also, PDL could nearly certainly wipe out the Slane Theocracy by himself, he does not need any allies to deal with them.
