Man here, this video is strange and likely a projection of the person who uploaded the video. Any form of generalized evaluation is usually a projection of self. I read somewhere in the comment section a person blur out, "Don't trust men" very generalized comment, therefor the underline communication is, "Don't trust me". There is a reason why job applications consist of "general" questions, example "Do you think most people are bad" the answer will be assumed to be a reflection of yourself and if you answer, "yes" you have failed the assessment and will not be considered for hiring. The relationship you have with the opposite sex is a direct reflection of the relationship you have with yourself, that's why you're told to find love within yourself before going out of your way to find love in another person.

I wish men generally just opened up more. But I don't think it's about opening up to women, I think it's about opening up to someone you can trust and not judge you. If a guy trust's you he is more likely to be more open about things, though obviously he is still going to keep some things to himself. But he might be more open to how is feeling or problems. But I could be wrong. I like to think this is the case anyway. Lots of guys have talked to me about stuff they probably wouldn't tell their friends or girlfriend/boyfriend. I think generally there are guys that wish they could be more open, but I guess it comes to trust.

another reason he's keeping a secret from her, is that he doesnt trust her to be emotionally strong to handle it. Esp. when its not meant to hurt her but simply make her understand him better. Luckily for me the right younger man found me....yes he does keep things bottled up, he does open up to me from time to time...I have many issues from past, and woman especially older do open up more. YES. You just gave the reasons why about 90% of my close friends are men. Man-woman friendships still have plenty of drama in the dynamic but the drama among females is WAY more stressful and confusing, at least to me. Men are more likely- not always but just more likely- to be straightforward and not play games. Or backstab. If a guy is upset or distant, I normally have an idea why and he doesn't get really weird.
