I always feel like im getting so old. But the other part of me is like whoa, by the time my kid is 18, i still will only be 43. Which is still kind of young. I mean, 43, thats still in age where im still active enough. But even then, ill have my sh way more together. Everything else is just saving for the future, & trying to leave a little something for her, so, she doesnt do my same dumb sh. But she does have better circumsrances. At least i was able to Choose... that much for her. I think if it was up to a lot of other ppl, theyd want me to have a shitty baby father. Which i do. But nevermind how it affects our kid, right? The bigger pic...?!!! Society with all its correct answers to life & all. & On that note tho, at least his family had $. Thank gah i got along w/ them in the beginning... Take credit. Its just a shame all the sh i had to go through to get here tho. They were all pretty harsh lessons but i prob needed to go through them. even when ppl made it harder on me, throwing several obstacles my way, just to try & say my life was easy too, on top of all my circumstances... Yeah, id say im pretty bad ass tho. If i hafta say so myself 😁. Bc i really did do it all by my lonesome. Completely by my lonesome. Take credit. I wasnt the one who was toxic. Everyone else was. I stand strongly behind that too. Bc I always knew where my heart was. What i do & dont do, & how only i know how i operate. Everything is else is just a matter of opinions. Just simply opinions. Taking up space. That literally no one ever asked for. My outlook has always been different bc i grew up different. I pretty much had to raise myself, responsibilities... Out in the middle of nowhere too. W/ originally no familiar faces around me at all. No community, not bubble to even run to for guidance, or support. Sometimes i think short term. And get frustrated things dont happen quick enough. But then i realize that for things to happen, it needs its span of time. But if i stay on track, surely ill achieve my somethings. I dont live outside my means. My dreams arent extravagant. I just want inner peace. I think im getting there. If i did look up to my elders tho... Id get no where. Proves that sometimes age really is just a number sometimes. I heard one time a elderly person complaining about how no one does anything for him. But its like 🤔 i mean, at that age, shouldnt things be set more in concrete by then? You already own everything, your kids are already grown, im not really sure what youre complaining about. The things you fix around your place? Yeah, thats still just on you. But until you get to a point where youre weaker, & less mobile, hush. Bc for me, 40s is phase 2, on how to just start living life.

I think the quality is a valid one. If her parents are toxic, she will probably be psychologically messed up. The trauma from growing up with toxic parents can be covered up at the beginning of a relationship, but will always surface later on, often causing huge conflict. The easy way to detect childhood trauma is to get to know her parents. If she gets on badly with her parents, if they are obviously toxic, it is better to steer clear.

Proverbs 31:30 "Charm is deceptive, and beauty passes soon. But a woman who has sincere reverence for the Lord (some translations say 'fears the lord') is to be praised." Character is far more important than looks, though looks do say a lot about the character. Love knows and accepts imperfections. Love is patient and kind. Love is not boastful or proud. Love bears all things, endures all things.

I had a beautiful girlfriend with all these qualities and I left her, ended up marrying a woman with no empathy and totally self centered, got divorced after 17 years. So hard to know if you are marrying the right one, I would just say take the time to know her really well and then decide, don’t rush into it. I’ve been single now for many years, live in a cabin in the mountains and get to see my three beautiful children, I doubt I’ll find someone again, and that’s ok.

@fayehiebert39795 жыл бұрын
Chris Harrison yes it does. I myself come from this environment. The people who raised you (or didn’t if it is neglect) do influence certain traits that you pick up, good and bad. Also if you were abused then you still have the (sometime irreversible) mental or physical problems wether you worked on trying to mend yourself or not. How you deal with your past and how you deal with the fact that you were abused by your parents does define you as a person. Everything in your life shapes you, all positivity and negative aspects of it. And guessing from your comment you might come from challenging home circumstances as well. If this is the case I would just hope you be careful of any problem that you picked up from past or present happenings.

Good relationships with their parents is not true. Otherwise only girls with good stable parents could make for good partners. And that’s not the case. My girl, together for 20 yrs this year doesn’t have a good relationship with her parents because they are volatile and narcissistic. But she’s great. I mean she’s patient with them but the relationship is not “good”. On the contrary, she’s even more great because her parents are so awful that it shows what kind of angel she is. Not a fair point.

I agree with Alex! Good relationships with parents is true for most part. Exceptions sometimes prove the rule. For example I got married in my late 30s to an amazing man with no divorces in his past and no kids. I was able to have 2 healthy kids without in vitro. However I was definitely not the norm! Most women who waited as long as I did to get married ended up settling for a guy they would not have looked at twice before, or they ended up really lonely and not fertile anymore. So what do you think I should advise young girls - just do like I did because things worked out perfectly for me and you might get lucky too? Or do I tell them to get married in their 20s while they still look fresh and attractive and have their best choices for good men with no baggage and their fertility is still at their peak? Sorry but you cannot point to exceptions and say that the rule is therefore false.

I'd say that my wife has more than a vast majority of these qualities. Although, she didn't have a good relationship with her mother because her mom was pretty dysfunctional, so I accept & admire that she broke ties with her. My wife isn't what I would call "intellectually challenging" to me, but rather equally as intellectually challenging to me as I am to her, so I'm discounting this trait also... As far as her other traits go, she mirrors the ones you sighted, spot on! Good video, I'm grateful that I watched this out of curiosity and that I already knew she was picture perfect! I've got to be the luckiest man alive to have her as my wife! 😊 One of the things I find very amusing is that she's incredibly attractive (she's worked as a model) and that she gets a little jealous when it comes to me interacting with other ladies, that's probably because, in my eyes I'm not especially handsome. However, the level of her jealousy isn't at all overwhelming, stifling or obtrusive, it's just enough to make me feel very worthwhile as a desirable man! 😁 I'd fight to the death for her and every single day, I court her as if it was the first time... I could easily write a novel about all the reasons I love her passionately & endlessly! 💕 All this, and she's also a world class, incredible mom to our daughter! 💕 Every single day, I fall in love with her all over again!

Believe me. To be able to do all those 15, you need long time of patience and growth of strength and maturity... I would add to the list: She is able to acknowledge her own weakness and still be confident. Relationship is about partnership. Even if she has all those qualities, she will have insecurities which will also need to be shared with the partner. As a woman, who is harboring these qualities (I think I have 13 out of 15 qualities in that video) I would definitely go after a guy who is able to protect me (or at least give me sense of security) for me to be able to show all those qualities.

Yes, my wife has these qualities, and I did consciously choose to marry her based on most of them - some of the qualities I learned as I studied why she is so awesome over the years. And I believe in a similar and corollary set of values from the masculine point of view, which I view as my duty to the human race, and to her in the personal sense. It is possible to be good and wise and to also consciously and humbly re-dedicate yourself to that pursuit every day - and that is what it takes. There's always more work to be done, and that is the fun of existing in the first place.

I found the PERFECT woman, but, you forgot to add that the woman that loves you for who you are on the inside, and in your heart, is the woman of true grace.
