For every one of those here that have complained (or were intending to), you have totally missed the point. You need to realize first that saying "invention" is likely more of a translational issue. They ARE being _inventive._ Just, not in a "brand new thing" way. This isn't about making something that has never existed before, but about being inventive and making something from stuff already to hand. For example, making something one will rarely use, rather than buying something when one doesn't have to buy it. Or, finding something someone else tossed, and finding ways to use it, repurpose it, or rebuild it. I don't quite understand why some folks just can't grasp that concept. It's not that complicated.

@MaryAnnNytowl
@MaryAnnNytowl Жыл бұрын
Precisely what I wondered! I've never seen something like that where I live, and I've been a DIYer for decades, along with being a semi trailer mechanic for 2½ decades. It's totally unfamiliar to me, and I even paused it on a couple of frames with that pipe in it.
@MaryAnnNytowl
@MaryAnnNytowl Жыл бұрын
I did some hunting around, and actually, it looks like you can get a gravity feed or siphon feed sandblaster, with gun and all needed parts, for less than $20 on eBay for a cheap one. Which is all most people ever need, frankly.

@MaryAnnNytowl Жыл бұрын
I suppose you're the kind that thinks grinding a weld down to make it pretty and flush and all is better? While it's weakening the entire weld so much that it loses at least half its strength, that is... 🙄😒 They're making something to be used rarely, with stuff they already own, rather than making something to sell or shove into a display, or spending money unnecessarily, LOL!

_~ahem~_ Any PERSON good with their hands. It's not just those with testicles that are handy. I was a mechanic on semi trailers for 2½ decades, I've been woodworking as a hobby my entire adult life, and I've been in the middle of renovation or repair of multiple houses over the years. Kindly put your... opinions under the microscope a bit before you type them out for the world to see. Thanks, ever so.
