@@JakeJohnstonHoustonTexasRE I have been in Cinroe for the past 25 years. Used to rabbit hunt from the back of a pickup on 1960 in the 60s. I have a hard time getting my bearings there now. There is a Medical Arts building on Red Oak where my folks house was, we would go hunting at the end of the road. I have a picture of 1960 and Red Iak I will try to find and send to you.

After 6.5 years in Houston working for O&G I recently moved back to Los Angeles for family. I'll always miss the people and the food. As a second generation Korean American approaching 50, I guess I definitely came across as an "out of towner". I felt like a star lol. People will take the time to havegenuine conversations to get to know me. You can talk with folks from all walks of life sharing your experiences about food, travel, and work. You can lose 30 minutes talking to a maintenance worker. A neighbor will come out and help you move while you chatting it up about cars. I will attest that in most parts of Houston I never experienced true diversity as I have while at Houston (not even in LA). There is a respect for each other while maintaining a unique oneness by being a fellow Houstonian. In those 6.5 years I flew back and forth quite a bit, and while in Houston I always felt like all my burdens were lifted off (as long as you don't have to commute I45). Houston will always have a special place in my heart. I always say everyone has a little bit of Texas in them, they just might not know it yet. I hope to be back to visit someday soon. God bless my fellow Houstonians!

Just an FYI. Spring is kinda Ghetto. But it's getting better for sure. Spring ISD specifically Spring High School is ghetto. Too many fights, and education is kinda poor. Again, Spring is definitely improving.
