19. What is Private Complaint,How it Works.

When police refuse to take our complaints and refuse to act according to law, the only course open to us is filing complaint before the Jurisdictional magistrate. Legal Provision for filing of the complaint is provided under section 200 of Criminal Procedure Code. it is a parallel compliant mechanism made available under law, which can be prosecuted and allegation can be proved before the court of law as police prove their cases before the courts by using their resources.
