(191) John Deere 310D reverser forward clutch pack assembly

I just found my repair book. The first snap ring at 2:10 should be .090-.093 thick. It DOES NOT fit in a groove! The snap ring at 14:11 should be .074-.078 thick. The piston assemble needs to be compressed to install this one. the other rings are used where the one in the middle of the clutch is to set the clearance between the clutch pack and the ring. it should be .021-.036. measure with feeler gauge and change to a different ring if needed. Thank you! That’s very helpful After I got the backhoe together forward worked good for a day and then quit. Reverse feels perfect but basically no forward. I’ll take a video of what it’s doing soon and hopefully I will pull the reverser again tomorw. I was suspecting it was some problem with the forward clutch pack but couldn’t find anything useful online.
