It is NOT pronounced Llama even though it’s spelled that way. It’s pronounced “Yama” which is the Spanish word for “Fire” hence the flames in the logo on the grips.

it;s not a true 1911 and you need to learn how to hold a gun properly.

For fuck's sake! I know this retarded comment is a year old, but someone has to say something...hope the two idiots who gave you a thumbs up are listening. This is a 1911 PATTERN firearm, get it PATTERN. Just like there are a shit ton of AR pattern and AK pattern rifles out there, there are a shit ton of 1911 pattern firearms out there. The only "true" M1911" were made by: Colt, Remington, Springfield, North American Arms, Ithaca, Union Switch and Signal and the Singer Sewing Machine Co, all others are 1911 pattern firearms. So yeah, Kimber does not make a "true" 1911, they make a 1911 pattern firearm. Start swapping M1911 parts onto a Llama and the only real trouble you're going to have is the plunger tube and grip scales BECAUSE IT'S A 1911 PATTERN FIREARM! As for the "learn how to hold a gun properly" portion of your ignorant comment, try learning to use an apostrophe properly. Anyway... it's called a "tea cup" grip and was widely used during the time that the M1911 was taking to the battlefield. I assume by the "63" in your ID that you were born in "63, I would imagine at your age you have more important things to do than shit post on some kids FB video (yeah, I'm old enough to call him a kid),...maybe try to be helpful next time...or just try shutting the fuck up...yeah do that. Just shut the fuck up. Sorry Diamond, great video, keep on keeping on!

@@billmehm7159 i was trying to be helpful by constructive criticism which is a method used to encourage improvement. as to the apostrophe, i accidently hit the key to the left of it. thank you for pointing that out. by the way, my comment was not ignorant and i'm sorry someone pissed in your cornflakes this morning. not really but i do think some anger management classes might do you some good. at your age maybe you should grow up and quit being a troll. good night and goodbye.

@@fbweaver63 Nope, you weren't being constructive...just critical. Constructive criticism requires a means of correction or betterment not simply a statement of criticism. As for the apostrophe, the point (lost on you) is that it is easy to pick someone/thing apart after it has been put out there for posterity. Cool deal calling me a troll...I call you on your bullshit (troll'ish) comment and you achieve validity by naming me a troll...I can live with that. By the way, your comment was ignorant. I imagine you're the type of guy that tells people to rack a shotgun to scare intruders away.

thanks for the support Bill, and the knowledge i don’t know a whole lot about fire arms so that was helpful!
