1911 pistol mirror polish

This is a video of me polishing this prop 1911 pistol to a mirror finish.
In this video Im practicing on a prop because I will soon be making another video of me polishing a real 1911 firearm
This was a prop and I couldn’t properly desasemble it for the polish but was still able to get successfull results and i can’t wait to make more videos on how to customize your firearm or any metal pistol /rifle

Are you using polishing cream .?? Also have yu ever wet sand it before .??? If it was all black .?

@@yxngfolks223 yes I wet sanded it but instead of using water I wet sanded with oil Gun oil

Such a crude way to polish. Why not disassemble instead of packing all the moving parts and holes with polishing compound?

@@mekanicgames295 this is a $17 BB gun airsoft gun it’s a toy made of a metal frame so I thought it would be cool to practice my polishing and dident want to take the whole thing apart because it’s a toy and it doesn’t come apart like a real fire arm It was a fun project
