Not just Balkan history, but European or World history in general. The song is about Gavrilo Princip . He was part of a growing group of Bosnian Serbs, Bosniaks and Bosnian Croats who resented the annexation of Bosnia by the Austrian-Hungarian empire and ended up assassinating Archduke Franz Ferdinand. This assassination set in motion a chain of events that led to the invasion of Serbia by Austria-Hungary which started World War I. The whole "I am a Yugoslav nationalist aiming for..." is what he said in court. And the title of the track is the model and serial number of the gun used in the assassination.

@@ayhamkimo4488 The motive for WW1 was that AH (and Germany but they aren't as important in this OVERsimplification) wanted to expand like England, France and Spain but was late to the party. Then they saw the Balkans as the only way to expand, they annexed Bosnia, people didn't enjoy that, Gavrilo shot Franz, AH gave Serbia the ultimatum that compromised the territorial integrity of Serbia (AH inspectors would come to Serbia and "do their jobs" unobstructed by Serbian institutions) and Serbia accepted everything in that ultimatum except that one point. Serbia gave Europe the draft of their version of the ultimatum which was just a change in the one point they didn't accept (they offered a collaboration deal with AH inspectors instead in order to preserve territorial integrity). Everybody, even the German empire, agreed that the draft was good and should be accepted but AH wanted blood. They proceeded to make true on their threats and 4 years later AH was no more

По-моему, в тексте Принцип нарочито показан парнем очень идейным, но политически наивным и недальновидным. And the only reason after WW2 they stayed as a part of Croatia was due to Jugoslavia and their guaranteed rights, which Croatia revoked started prasing NDH and was proviking the Serbs, they had no chose but to rebel.
