That is cleaning up nicely. Such a great vise. I'm glad you got the jaws off. Which the crack on the "anvil" I would be hesitant to hammer on it at all. Great video!

Thanks man! I was definitely disappointed to find the crack but thankfully I've got a few other anvil options for when it's needed. Maybe even make something to clamp in the jaws to serve as one. As I'm typing this the shops filled with smoke from the hot oil finish! Stay tuned 👍

Looking good so far. You need a 4.5 inch angle grinder would make your job so much easier lol. Darren

Thanks Darren I appreciate it! I actually have one but haven't picked up a wire wheel for it. I really should haha. My arms were definitely getting sore holding it up for the drill press for so long lol
