This is the first time I've worked on a tractor like this. I am learning as I go ...
Inspecting the vaporizer plates and resealing with a different type of Permatex.

Excellent video. THank you for posting this. Looking forward to seeing the next video! Regarding the new stainless steel plates, would you say they are just as thick as the originals? THey looked like exact duplicates of the originals, which is great. Thank you.

Thanks Doug. You're welcome. Yes, I think the plates have a similar thickness, perhaps exactly, as the originals. I'll keep my old crusty plates on the shelf for spares. [e-mail]

The vaporizers were antique technology that were eventually replaced by the standard carburetor. Carburetors were much easier to set up and maintain.
