1926 Ford Model T

Just restored this touring car. Complete rebuild of engine, transmission, driveshaft and rear axle as well as complete rewiring. Runs great on magnito.

The paperwork that came with the car had it registered as a 1926. As for the tiebar between the fenders; please see page 378 of Bruce W. McCally's book; "Model T Ford, The car that changed the world", the last sentance of the second full paragraph in the left column. What I found more interesting, on my car, than the lightbar, was the fact that, as an open car, it has a starter. So I would agree that it is a very late 1926.

It also depends on the body style. Coupes and touring cars bring more $$$ than Tudor and Fordor sedans

Very nice car. I have a 23 touring, it has a starter and demountable rims. Neat how much better a car the 26 and 27 are. The body looks more like an A touring.

Hi I make this out to be a 27 did you add the light bar, 26 did not have a light bar love your car

I believe that is a 1927 model year. In 26 they did not have the bar that ran between the headlights. I have a 1926 T
