Wow! Wonderful job! Dad and I restored a '31 Town Sedan Slant Windshield back in the 80's. Painted it Washington Blue. My wife and I drove away from the wedding in it. A few years later, expecting a baby had to sell it. Would give my eye teeth to find it and buy it back. Larry in Amarillo

Hey Larry, Thank you for sharing your story. Apologies for not responding sooner but I don't get notifications for comments. I went through many ups and downs during the time it spent to restore our A what with redundancy (x3) and general life. But now I look back It was so worthwhile and we still use it. @@MatelotsousMarin If you were rich you couldn't afford to buy the quality of craftsmanship that you put into your restoration. Another side benefit is what your children have learned from you and about you seeing you work on this project. this is wonderful.

Hi, sorry only just found your comment. The roof was a big PAIN! I put it off for ages because I was so worried about messing it up. Waited for a really hot day to make the vinyl very pliable. In the end I gave up with the correct fixings for the side trims as they just didn't have enough holding strength into the worn out wood below, so used modern pozidrive wood screws instead.

Nice to see your long and painstaking work, and the great result. I noticed the (in my opinion, state of the art) GM alternator, which suggests you changed to 12 volts, favoring practical over pure - sound decision.

Modern Ford colours actually that have a little more POP. Main body colour is Baltic blue, and the trim Monza blue.

Hi Eric, they are both modern ford colours, from memory I think the main body colour is Baltic blue, and the trim Monza blue. Anyway I like them!
