That antique panel truck looks and even sounds similar to the one Jasper and Horris drove in the classic animated Disney movie 101 Dalmatians except that one does not have any damage to the front left fender and headlight.

WOW! Look at the ground clearance! This would still get the deliveries done, during floods! And did you see, it had PROPER tyres on it, in SOLID rubber. If the fashion along today's incompetent designers is to have such thin tyres - then they should "man up", or "woman up" and go back to solid tyres or not have thin tyres at all. The present ones will burst on a pothole!

I've been looking around and there isn't much to see on the Trojans, so thanks for posting your video. We've just been given a later model van chassis, guards, firewall and assorted parts along with the 2.3 Litre supercharged twingle 4 cylinder engine. Fascinating motor!! We think it is the Model "15" circa 1950. Hope you're still enjoying yours :)

Weirdly, this no longer shows up on my KZbin feed when I search for “1928 Trojan” or “1928 Trojan Van,” even though it has in the past. I think that must be the result of a bug. Cheers anyway!

Is that chain only driving one wheel? Are there any rear wheel brakes?

The Trojan has a solid back axle, no differential and is driving both rear wheels at once. It also has brakes on one rear wheel which because of its solid axle work on both wheels.

This van is STREETS ahead ( no pun intended) of today's incompetent offerings. It has proper STEEL wheels for STRENGTH. (Logical except to today,'s idiot designers) A friend drove his family for an outing - and got forced to one side by other drivers into a central reservation. The ALLOY wheel shattered, at only 50 miles per hour and his family could have been killed. Why aren't ALLOY wheels ILLEGAL?
