So interesting, thanks! This brought back memories when I was 10yrs old they made me carry a 1960s Premiere metal 15" marching snare with top and bottom snares, a 3x3 steel block attacked. a hole drilled into it, a long piece of rebar, bent twice, holding a 14" Zildjian cym. We only had the 2" thick cloth strap sling. That was cruel! lol
