Thank you. We have not had time as of late to get back on this project, but up next will be cleaning the carburator and removal of the oil pan and pistons for an inspection of the motor.

I've drug out a lot of cars and trucks over the years. But I've never seen one as stubborn as this one was!!! So glad you we're able to finally move it!! $78.00 !! That was cheap!! Especially as high is fuel is getting.

Honestly, I was surprised at the cost being that low. But, I kept trying to do all of this myself to save some money, but it just wasn't working out for me. Then, seeing the difficulty the tow truck had, I knew then, it wasn't all me !

Good job getting it back to the shop. Now you can work on it and find out what is what. I saw both front wheels move so that is good. The liquid looked to be coming out of the engine, as they will do that when at that angle. Don't worry about those wheels, they are 35 ford wheels and there are a lot of them around, the good thing is that you can put modern radials on while working on things. when you get everything working, you can put 19 inch wheels on or use the 16s. I have 16s on the truck I built. I know it looks rough but it will go back together especially if you use the bed and don't try to go back strictly factory.

Thank you. I really appreciate the info, and I know I'll be reaching out in the furtire for advice on this. At least now, we can be in the dry and on solid ground.

Last time I moved a car like that the tow truck driver told me where to stick it and left.

Ha ! I can imagine. I kept telling they guy, if you think it's too wet or you might get stuck, we can do thins another day. He was like, no, it's only slick on the top! You don't know how glad I was when he rolled out and was back on hard ground !
