This has gotten to be one of the very best shows of this type on the internet. Your metal working expertise combined with your excellent camera work and your easy-going, laid-back attitude make this a very pleasant show to watch. Your working relationship with your student, Jacob, is very gratifying. I always look forward to any new episode, always something to learn. Keep up the good work!

Travis, if I remember correctly you put a taller screw in the rear end, that would lower the rpm of the engine. If you are running a generator that lower engine rpm might not be spinning the generator fast enough. I would suggest that you put a smaller drive pulley on the generator to spin it faster at around town speeds.

this could be it. but i do have quite a small pulley on my gen as it is.

Could change pulley size to increase rpm of alternator. Same problem with 60s British cars with generators. Would not start charging until reaching 1000 rpm.

Travis put a smaller pulley on the generator to get higher output at slower driving speeds

Jacob, you're killing me! Wear your ear protection. Wear your eye protection. Travis provides it, and sets a good example. Or, if not, you'll wish you had....
