We are trying and you too Ed. In regards to the music and movies, I can see why the 30's ended up having so many of these films. People needed a pick me up just like today.

Got my computer back from an update/ upgrade and now I can enjoy about a year's worth of Pax41 listening! This is a delightful set, sounds as smooth as a polished bakelite dance floor. I really admire your tasteful handling and amazing variety of period visuals to go with these--well done, sir!

I have to tell you friend. I absolutely love your music. It's been helping me get through being all alone at home now. I have to ask question though, do you own all of these recordings? I mean, are these records that you're recording off of? Because you must have one heck of a big collection. I would love to see if you would put a playlist together of all of Guy Lombardo's 1930s and 40s recordings. He's one of my favorites, as well as Jack Payne. Keep up the good work. And keep them coming!
@pax414 жыл бұрын
Mr S there are two collections used for this channel. A very good friend of mine has an extensive collection that he shares with me. I do the restorations from the original 78's in both my collection and his. Your request would be an example of how our collaboration works well, since Fred is a big fan of Guy Lombardo. I prefer Lombardo's hot sides, so I haven't collected many of his records. However, Fred may very well have all of them. We both collect Jack Payne 78's and I have imported the majority of my British records. A large portion of the donations that come in go to purchasing records for the channel. I only use my transfers to avoid copyright claims by others who do reissues. Also, to my knowledge we don't have many Lombardo recordings past 1940. Thank you for watching the channel.
