Yes! I shared the build photos to a pretty large channel that made a video about it. I can't remember the name of the channel, I believe it was taken down. Maybe one of these days i'll make my own slideshow and post it.

How do you like the performance of the front suspension? I like the concealed look of the elliptical springs. Great job!
@masonmattocks715 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Honestly I wasn't impressed, however I've never driven a solid axle car prior to that. Nor have I sense. So I'm not a very good judge. If I would have it to do over to do again I would have put less caster in. Michael with that design was to keep the axle as close to the center of the car as possible for aesthetics. The shorter wheelbase didn't help with handling either... but I liked the way it looked :)
@1923ford5 жыл бұрын
Mason Mattocks: Agreed, I like the short look. I’ve seen too many that get too long in the front. That may help the handling but I don’t care for the long look. With the elliptical front springs did you have to use a panhard bar for the front...or do the springs keep the axle from moving side to side? I also like how you shifted the motor back, but kept the sides of the front cowl.
@1923ford5 жыл бұрын
Mason Mattocks: Did you need the 6” tall square tubing up front for the elliptical springs? Or was it more for looks? I was not sure if you needed the extra depth for the travel of the spring?
@masonmattocks715 жыл бұрын
@@1923ford no panhard bar needed.
@masonmattocks715 жыл бұрын
@@1923ford yes, it was needed for the spring travel along with ride height adjustability.

David Payne the rears are 20" steel spares with custom covers from mid 2000's dodge trucks and the fronts are 18" steel spares from 1990 something astro vans.
