I may not comment on every video Derek, but I make a point of watching them all. It's a pleasure to watch someone who aims to do the best work that they can, & you certainly fall into that category. Seeing the stump in your shop takes me back to when this was my job everyday for 45 years. The stump was a useful asset when using a sandbag. As always I look forward to seeing the next episode & catch up with your progress. I realised the photos I had emailed you a while ago of my Brookville '32 roadster, hadn't been delivered. I'll resend them again over the weekend. All the very best from the UK 🇬🇧👍👍👍.

Geof, thanks. Yes I'd like to see the photos. My email is derekfraser64@gmail.com The stump is very useful. Sand bag is coming. I will always welcome constructive criticism from someone like yourself that did this for a living so feel free to email me should I do something that's silly! Every day is a learning experience.

Derrick it looks like theirs alot of work all across that whole panel from the bead line all the way down . My question is that instead of welding all these pieces together , just get a quarter panel and inner ? Unless you want to preserve as much as the car as possible ?
@coldstreamrodshop Жыл бұрын
Yes there's a lot to work. The owner prefers to use as much of the original metal as possible. He was willing to buy a quarter but I decided to try and work this panel. It costs about 2.5x the $US cost of a new quarter to get one here so that can cover a lot of time and labor. So far so good. Going to keep going this way.
