It's awesome the old guy knows so much of the history of that car. It's the little bits that make it special. Production info like early and late, window glass production date, $50 upgrade, etc. Fantastic details from a senior. I believe Chip will do the right thing with that car.

That's a rolling peice of american history on wheels and those old guys are a dieing breed. The owner knows all the history and it's very rare to see a car that orignal with the markings,wheels,lights,etc...even the tires as are close to original as you can get! It's an amazing automobile, what sight to see!

Excellent! This is an absolute gem! I am so happy to hear the plan is to preserve the originality and do the necessary repairs and maintenance. This car simply oozes history that cannot be replicated by anyone anywhere. No level of talent, backed by any amount of money, could build what this car has. Well done, Mr. Foose, I salute you, along with the seller and those before him, that have kept the car as it has aged from new to now without modifications or molestation.

I just bought a 1936 Chevy Sedan from the original owners daughter! All original even came with all the license plates up until 1998 when last registered. Man is she a sweet ride. Already put 60 miles on it since I bought it. Even took it out on the highway at 55 m.p.h.! I'm not hot rodding this thing. It's way to damn solid to cut it up.

The headlight bar being stock is an alloy steel bar that is clad with a stainless steel cover ("rustless steel" per Henry); this S/S clad extends only between the headlights. Henry claimed that his cars in 1932 were constructed using over 50 alloys of steel.

Thank You Chip Foose for saving this original old ford. To many people would just Hot Rod it and another one would be lost. My dad had a nice original 39 Ford (i believe it was a 39) After he passed we had people that wanted to buy it and Hot Rod it. We wouldn't let that hapeen. Sold it to a local man that kept it like it was, when he passed it went to his son who will keep it the same way as well. Thanks for sharing this story with us.

Thanks Chip for becoming the next caretaker of that 32. Remember that's all we are to these cars, and hopefully we can do our best to give them the longest life possible.
